Still surviving...

THIRD YEAR PSYCH: Rough and Tough.

Requirements...everything.
We just finished our preliminary exams...and YES, we're still surviving!

To sum up my prelims experience:

PRELIMS? CHEESE.

After first exams...

Vulnerable Moments

"Why can't my other friends trust me?", my friend asked.

She rested her head on my shoulder...and for a moment, the little sparkle in her eye rushed down--stopped at the outline of her face. And then, another tear followed.

I didn't know what was the right thing to do...so I just listened.
Listened to her melancholic descant...an amalgam of her silenced sentiment and inaudible holler.

Upon gaining momentum I said together with a hug,

"I trust you."

"That's more than enough to remind me that I'll be fine...", she replied.

"You'll be fine! Trust me."

This day went this way...

So, I went to the supermarket today to accompany our helper. After picking the things I needed, I decided to wait outside the supermarket to just sit and observe. I did that for about an hour—and now I think what I did was plainly weird. haha!

A mother and a child sat beside me. I couldn’t resist listening to their odd conversation:

The little girl plays with her makeup...

Mother: Nako anak, puro kalandian inuuna! Hindi mo man lang alam mag-sulat at magbasa! tigilan mo nga yan. (with matching”batok” sa bata)

Little Girl (about 5 years of age): Bakit mo ako binili Mama? malandi ka rin?

Me: (O_O)

Next, I got irritated with a peculiar barkada that passed in front of me. They were so boisterous! Feeling nila sila may ari ng mall. One of the girls struck an old woman, making her drop one of the grocery bags she was carrying. The bitchy teenage girl said, “sensya na lola”, then walked away. I saw the old woman finding a hard time picking up the grocery bag. I decided to get out from my seat and help her. The old woman thanked me and said,

“buti iba ka sa kanila! salamat.”

Me: :”)

Anyway, I would like to state that many teenage PulileƱos nowadays are jeje. Mga feeling gwapo, mga feeling maganda, ang pangit naman ng mga suot...kasing pangit pa ng ugali nila.(jugdmental bitch mode) >:)

Before I went outside  the mall, a little girl grabbed my arm.
And I was like,

“crap, who are you?” plus mean stare >:)

*****
Outside the mall, I saw two little girls talking to each other using their walky-talkies even though they were merely a yard apart.

Girl 1: “na saan ka?”
Girl 2: “andito ako sa mister donut”
Girl 1: ”talaga?”
Girl 2: ”oo, ayos dito”
Girl 1: “tanga! wala kayang mister donut dito sa mall”
Girl 2: “gago ka”

Me: tama ba itong mga naririnig ko? ganito na ba mga bata ngayon? haha

*****
I went to Palengke to look for cheap pens. I asked the lady for the prices. She showed the price tags of two of the pens I chose. 45 pesos each. I told her that I’d buy both. I saw her removed the price tag of the other pen. Before I handed her my 90 pesos.

“Miss kulang itong bayad mo. 50 pesos yung isa. Penge pa limang piso.”

fuck. manloloko. at nagpaloko ako kasi naawa ako.

(:|)

SCHOOL WORKS for the HOLIDAYS!

I haven’t written any sensible posts nowadays. I’m in an indefinite hiatus in blogging. Anyway, I need to work on our thesis, some case studies, several reports for next year, quizzes when classes resume, and a lot of READING. HAHA, LIFE.

This one’s a suicidal season!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to me!

Sketchmas Gift

A Sketchmas Gift for one of my closest friends :)

People say, "there's a story behind every picture" ; I say, "behind every drawing, there's one great adventure."

The scanned sketch above was my first successful portrait! Anyway, when I finished the portrait... I framed it ASAP.
*crack* I sit on the frame and broke the wooden back part :|

I decided not to give this portrait to my friend :)) Good thing, this one's just a rough sketch. My sister suggested that I should buy a new frame so that my "obra maestra" wouldn't be such a waste :))

BAAAAAAAH.
