My Heart Project

I celebrated Heart’s day in a very unusual way. Instead of celebrating Valentine’s Day with the person who secretly holds my heart, I celebrated the day with the persons close to my heart.

The day started as we waited inside the Main Building for our BMA LAB II classes that was eventually cancelled because we had to attend a seminar in the Med Auditorium. Issa D’Bayan gave me a pink long rose that soon blossomed as the day ended.

We went to the College of Science seminar to grasp the latest issues in Science Education. We stayed there for about 2 hours, half-listening and planning what to do after. We (Maki Capalungan, Jr Bulanadi, Yna Reyes, Faye Rayos) agreed to eat lunch in SM San Lazaro to celebrate heart’s day in an extra special way. While listening to the talk in the Med Auditorium, hungers pangs polluted our attention, and made us unfocused throughout the seminar.

As soon as the seminar was finished, we dashed through the exit and hurriedly went to SM San Lazaro so we could finally eat. When we arrived at the mall, we took a very long time picking where to eat. After the long scouting of restaurants, we decided to eat at Max’s restaurant (nalipasan na kami ng gutom sa sobrang choosy namin!).

Maki and Jr ordered a Fiesta plate meal while the Yna Luz, Faye and I ordered for a Platter meal. Too bad I couldn’t show you the receipt because Mr. Jann Mark Capalungan took it! hahaha (pinag-agawan pa namin).

After sharing a voluptuous meal together, we prayed that classes in the afternoon would be cancelled. Luckily, our prayers were answered. So, circled the mall to buy some chocolates for our love ones and ate Krispy Kreme.

Since classes were already cancelled, we decided to watch a movie. We watched “My Valentine Girls” after we ate our Krispy Kreme.

We enjoyed the movie together while counting lovers inside the movie house. We went back to UST after the movie ended. As we walked along the Lacson Street, we bought some roses to offer to the saints in UST Chapel. We visited the chapel before we separated ways. We also had some pictorials in UST to kill time.

These people change every frown into a smile;
In every trial, will lend a hand.
The best of friends,
Worth more than gold,
Give all the love,
A heart can hold.

4 Stars and 1 Amazing Constellation

"It's possible for 4 different stars to make an amazing constellation." _samreyes

February 8, 2011

We had our PAMILEE get together. It was so amazing that my friends and I could still find time to be together. Actually, what happened wasn't planned at all. Michelle texted me in the afternoon during my Biochemistry lab class, that she'd be coming in UST to visit us. After our lab class, Ikee and I saw each other. I informed her that Janina, Michelle, and I would be sleeping at her place. She agreed to meet after classes at 7pm in front of UST's Main Building.

Ikee was unsually dismissed early and she waited for me to come down from my last class. She also joined me and my blockmates visit UST Chapel to pray. After the chapel visit, we went to the UST dojo to check if Janina was there. Ikee and I decided to sit on the benches near the field while waiting for Janina and Michelle. Finally, they arrived (Janina got the LATE AWARD) and we decided to find a place to eat dinner.

We ate at the Thai cuisine in UST Dapitan. We ordered the same meal except for Michelle. We shared a wonderful dinner together, just like the "good old days."After dinner, we went to Pacific suites to get some clothes for the sleepover. We went straight to USTURIAS to play rockband until 10 pm. After playing rockband, we hurried to Ikee's place because it's already late and quite far from UST.

We changed our clothes as soon as we arrived at Ikee's place. We enjoyed the night until morning came, with endless conversations, pictorials, and internet surfing. We stayed up all night together until the next day came. When we decided to take a rest, we had our last few webcam pictures. I couldn't imagine how we all fitted in one bed (!?!) legs intertwined, scattered hugs---positioned like vines.

We ate breakfast together before we separated ways.

A lot of things happened when the four of us were together. Words couldn't describe the wonderful bond we had. And even my memory was too limited to remember how much of what I felt.

So you see, it's possible for four different stars (friends) to shimmer alone and shine brightest when together. Michelle, Janina, Ikee and I may have separate ways now but we're connected by love; 4 stars fixed like an astounding constellation that would forever cast their hopes and love, forever in the sky.
